Bio

Funeral services will be held from the St. John the Baptist Church in Ammannsville, Texas on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 1:30 pm. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 11 am from the church, with the parish rosary to be recited prior to the mass at 1 pm. Interment will be in the Ammannsville Catholic Cemetery in Ammannsville, Texas. The family requests donations be made to the Ammannsville KJT Building Fund; or St. Rose Catholic School, Schulenburg, Texas; or Sacred Heart High School Booster Club, Hallettsville, Texas; or a charity of one's choice. Survivors include wife, Glenda Stavinoha of Ammannsville; daughters, Stacey Heger and husband, Roy, of Ammannsville, Paula Fuchs and husband, Dean, of Burton, and Amanda Hermis and husband, Jon, of Cypress; sons, Tim Stavinoha and wife, Elizabeth, of Manvel, and Tray Stavinoha of El Campo; sisters, Betty Wagner and husband, Mel, of Round Rock, and Cecilia Weyand and husband, Lester, of Cypress; brothers, Leroy Stavinoha and wife, Patsy, of Caldwell, and Felix Stavinoha and wife, Gloria, of Schulenburg; sisters-in-law, Bernice Stavinoha of Weimar and Mildred Stavinoha of Weimar; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister; 5 brothers; and 2 grandchildren.
