Bio

Born May 28, 1919 in Winnsboro, Texas and died April 18, 2012 in Dallas at age 92. Survived by son, Stephen O. Fildes of Austin; sister, Helen Mann and brother, Bill Birdsong, both of Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Fildes, Jr. in 1971. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service 1PM Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Farish of Lake Highlands Baptist Church, officiating. Interment to follow in the Ferris Cemetery in Ferris, Texas. Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home
