DOB is approximated Helen Mann, age 92, of Sulphur Springs passed away in the mid-afternoon hours Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Rock Creek Nursing Home. Helen was born in Winnsboro, Texas to the late John and Nell Birdsong. She married James Mann who also preceded her in death. Helen worked at Macy's for many years. She attended the First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs when her health allowed. One of her favorite past times was watching baseball, especially the Texas Rangers. She had a twin sister, Moralynn, with whom she would often dress in the same outfits, just different colors. Helen is survived by one daughter, Susan Eslinger. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene Birdsong, David Birdsong, and Bill Birdsong and by two sisters, Hazel Neumann and Maralynn Fildes. There will be a family viewing at noon, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Sam B Harvey Funeral Home followed immediately by a graveside service at Cypress Cemetery. Obit From Sam B. Harvey F. H. Mt.
