Bio
William "Bill" Watson Creighton was born to William James Creighton,Jr and Cecile Julia Wolkarte in Houston, Harris Co., TX. on January 15, 1907. He was their only child, but Cecile had four children by her first marriage to Albert Granger, and they lived with them. Bill married Mary Elizabeth Hugonin on October 20, 1932 in Houston, Harris Co.,TX. They lived for a time in Odessa in the 1930's, but later made their home in the house he grew up in on York in Houston, TX. He worked for Reed Roller Bits. After he retired, they moved to Madisonville, TX. He died there on June 23, 1991. He was survived by his wife of 59 years, three sons, one daughter and numerous grandchildren. Note: His father was born in England and came to America in 1883. Bill was the first one in his family to be born on American soil.
