Services for Edgar O. "Pete" Belcher, 56, of New Caney, were held today in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robbie Bailey and Bro. W. E. Hall officiating. Burial followed in the Wheeler Cemetery. Mr. Belcher died Sunday at his residence. He was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Houston County and had resided in Corrigan for a number of years. Mr. Belcher was a member of the Wakefield Baptist Church, a veteran of WWII and was employed as a maintenance worker for Trinity-Portland Cement.
