Bio

Herald Coaster, October 21, 1980: Funeral services for Edith M. Barta, 84, of Needville, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. Burial will be at St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery. A KJZT rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. and a parish rosary 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Needville. Mrs. Barta died Monday at Polly Ryon Hospital. Survivors include three sisters, Martha Stuchly of Needville, Lillian Buchta of Houston, and Alice Niscavits of Angleton; five brothers, Raymond Bartosh and Edward Bartosh, both of Jourdanton, Lad J. Bartosh and Charlie Bartosh, both of Granger, and Victor Bartosh of Needville. Friends may call after 4 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel in Needville.
