Bio

Herald Coaster, July 12, 1965: Funeral services for Mrs. Albina B. Baca, 71, were held Saturday, August 7. A service was held at the Garmany & Co. Chapel in Needville at 9:45 a.m. & requiem mass was held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. Rev. C.F. Quinn, Rt. Rev. Msgr. T.J. Tydlacka, and Rev. George Tydlacka, officiated at mass. A rosary was held at 8 p.m. Friday night at Garmany & Co. Chapel in Needville. Mrs. Baca was married to Rudolph Baca in 1912 in Fayetteville, Texas. They moved to Needville where Mrs. Baca resided for 53 yrs. Mr. Baca preceded her in death in 1932. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church for over 50 yrs., a charter member of the KJZT Lodge, and a member of St. Michael's Altar Society. Survivors include 3 daughters, Miss Sedonia Baca of Needville, Mrs. Lillian Moussa of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Helen Kipple of Austin; one brother, Emil Kolenovsky of Fayetteville; and one sister, Mrs. Frances Tydlacka of Austin; 5 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and one great-grandson. Pallbearers were Eddie, Joe, and Eugene Marek, George Kulcak, Lad Kolensovsky, Frankie Baca, Jimmie Kipple, and Wayne Moussa. Interment was in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
