Bio
Dominik was born at Starojicka Lhota, House #25 on 25 Aug 1854* to Vaclav Kolenovsky & Magdalena Konecny. He married Anna Kovar on 1 February 1883 at the Roznov Catholic Church, Roznov, Moravia. He and Anna moved to Vsetin, where their children were born and Dominik worked as a lord's coachman.** He immigrated aboard the SS Elbe on 7 Nov 1891 with his wife, Anna, and four children (Frantiska, Zofie, Dominik, & Marie). He applied for citizenship in 1896, which was granted in 1900. Dominik died 26 May 1933 at Ellinger, Fayette Co., TX. *Birthdate is from the Church Registers in the Czech Republic Archives. **Information from daughter Frantiska's birth/baptism certificate.
