ELDER Warren Lloyd, born June 6, 1917 in Dewey County, Ok. to Joseph Floyd Elder & Anna Madge Drake. He was a farmer until WWII when he joined the Navy. After the war, Warren settled in OKC and became a machinist. He was a Deacon in the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents & brother, Lawrence Gail Elder. Survived by his wife, Elmeda Bell Watts, whom he married Feb. 14, 1948; 4 children, Jessie Ann Elder, Joseph Warren Elder & Lloyd Albert Elder, all of OKC, Lowell Ray Elder of Idalou, Tx; 6 grandchildren; brother, John Elder of Arapaho, Ok; sisters, Doris Bruner of Dallas, Tx & Dolores Elder of Glendale, Ar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 4, 1996 at the South Colonial Chapel. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Bell Cemetery, Dewey, Ok.
