BORN OH, dau of James Campbell-Sarah Davis; she wed Harland on 1 Jun 1916 [PER Fayette Cnty OH] OH--Ashtabula Star Beacon...27 Dec 1981 GERTRUDE TIDD: former Ashtabula resident; 88, died Friday [12-25] in Auburndale FL. She was born 10 May 1893 in Bloomingburg OH, a dau of James & Sarah Davis Campbell; was formerly of Ashtabula & moved to Auburndale in 1972. She attended Ohio University & taught school in Mount Sterling OH. She was a former member of First Christian Church of Ashtabula. Survivors include children: Harmon Tidd-Ash-tabula; Eugena Grimes-WinterHaven FL; Doris Thompson-Auburndale; 13 grandchildren & 12 gr grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harland Tidd & 2 daus: Lillian & Emma. Graveside service will be Monday noon [12-28] at Williamsfield Cntr Cem with Rev Calvin King of Andover First United Methodist Church off-iciating. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Maranatha Home-Lake Alfred FL. Baumgardner Funeral Home-Andover is in charge of local arrangements.
