Abner M. Houston Dies Services Are Pending Abner M. Houston, 69, died late Wednesday night at his home, 510 South Oak Street. His death was unexpected. A resident of Ponca City since 1917, Houston retired in 1940 from the engineering department of the Continental Oil Company. He was born at Luling, Texas on June 22, 1880 and moved to Ponca City from Norman. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Maude Houston of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Robert L. Looney of Russell, Kan.; two granddaughters and five brothers, John, Will, Hugh and Fred Houston, all of Noble, and Jim Houston of Norman. Funeral arrangements are pending at the E. M.
