Sims, 38, of Hysham died of cancer Wednesday afternoon in a Billings Hospital. A nurse's aide for the past several years at Rosebud Community Hospital at Forsyth. She was born April 26, 1926, in Weir City, KS., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Dotson. As a child she moved with her parents tp Osceola, MO., where she grew up. She was married in Osceola May 11, 1941, to John Sims. They moved to Grenville, N.M. where they lived until Mr. Sims joined the U.S. Army in 1944. Mrs. Sims lived with her parents in Rainier, OR., until her husband was discharged in 1946. They moved to Forsyth, MT., in 1962 where they ranched until moving to another ranch near Hysham. Mrs. Sims was a member of the Forsyth Federated Church, Eastern Star Bethlehem Chapter 27, and VFW Ladie Auxiliary, both of Forsyth. Surviving are the widower, her parents, now of Casper, WY., a daughter, Janet Sims of Hysham a brother Wayne Dotson of North Platte, NE., and two grandchildren. The body is at Beals Mortuary in Forsyth.
