Bio

Burt was the son of Silas Robert Teats (1845 – 1924) and Amelia A (Koehler) Teats (1846 – 1898). He grew up in Central City, Colorado and married Mary Ellen 'Ella' Leahy (1876 – 1923) there in 1900. They lived in Pocatello, Idaho from about 1901 to 1911, then moving to Montana around 1912. Their chidren were all born in Pocatello: Mary Amelia 'Maymie' Teats 1901 – 1996 Burt Arthur Teats 1903 – 1993 Robert Eugene Teats 1905 – 1971 Margaret Eileen Teats 1906 – 1906 Ella Kathleen Teats 1907 – 2009 John A Teats 1909 – 1980
