Herald Coaster, August 16, 1964: Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Fojtik, 65, of Guy, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Garmany and Company Chapel in Needville. Rev. Kelton Carouthers officiated. Mrs. Fojtik passed away suddenly in her home Monday evening. Mrs. Fojtik was married in Williamson County and moved to Fort Bend County in 1921. She is survived by her husband, William Fojtik Sr. of Guy; two sons, William Fojtik and Joe Fojtik of Guy; three grandchildren; and one brother, John Faltisek of Taylor. Pallbearers were C. D. Fojtik, Franklin Fojtik, Robert Kuban Jr., Edward Kuban, Willie Witek, O. Guinn, Bill Loofs and Johnny Faltisek. Burial was in the Needville Public Cemetery.
