Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Methodist Church of Celeste with Rev. Francis Sales officiating. Burial will be in Lane Cemetery. He was born Nov. 7, 1914 in Hunt County to Mr. and Mrs. William Clinton. He was a farmer and rancher. He married LaNeta Sartin on Feb. 1, 1938 in Lane. Survivors are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Gladys Clinton of Leonard; a son, Ronnie Clinton of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Brinlee of Allen; four brothers, John L. Clinton of Lubbock, Jimmy Clinton and Artie Clinton of Dallas and Kenneth Clinton of Alexandria, La.; and a grandchild.
