Texas Coaster, January 25, 1971: Mr. Frank August Vojtek, 74, passed away Thursday, January 21st, at his residence in Needville. He was born November 11, 1896 in Weimar, Texas, the son of Joseph and Rosie Vojtek. He was a member of the Needville American Legion Post #350 and has been a resident of Fort Bend County since about 1908. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Viola Klinkovsky of West Columbia, Mrs. Edith Lambeth of Dayton, Mrs. Willie Mae Kuban of Needville; son, Frank A. Vojtek of Rosenberg; 13 grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Frances Prilucik of Needville. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23rd, from the St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville, with the Rev. Richard Avery officiating. Interment was in the Needville Public Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons. Services were under the direction of the Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors.
