Bio

Rosenberg Herald, December 18, 1952: Henry L. Selig of Guy died in the Veterans Administration Hospital Monday, Dec. 8. He was born near Brenham October 5, 1886, and has been a resident of Fort Bend County since 1903. Selig was a member of the Needville Methodist Church. He is survived by one sister, Flora Selig, and one brother, Ben Selig, two nephews, and three step-nephews. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in Needville Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. A.S. Kattner officiating. Interment in the Needville Public Cemetery, Garmany-Heartfield directing. Pallbearers were Anton Schmidt, Carl Thuesen, Hans Thuesen, Herbert Nowotny, Phillip Huzler, and Henry Miller.
