Angeline Prnka Birkes, 84, of Waco, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at St. Catherine Center. Angeline was born May 29, 1927 in West to Frank J. Prnka, Sr. and Marie Mensik Prnka. She married Robert L. Birkes August 21, 1948 in West. She worked for various businesses in Waco as a bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Angeline is survived by her husband, Robert L. Birkes of Waco; sons, Tom Birkes and wife, Kathy of Crawford and Dan Birkes of Waco; grandson, Brian Birkes of Waco; her sister, Genevieve Krueger of Malone; and several nieces and nephews.
