Bio
Frank parents were Hans Andersen and Frances Petska Andersen. He married Lucene Hardin in Logan on Sept 18 1933. The couple moved to Iowa City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev Robert Welsh officiating. Place of the service is pending. Burial will be in Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the George L. Gay Funeral Home beginning Monday at 7 p.m. Saturday. Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church building fund. Mr. Andersen was born July 8, 1908, at Ord, Neb., to Hans Christian and Frances Petska. He was married Sept. 18, 1933, at Logan to Lucene Hardin. The couple moved to Iowa City in 1951. He attended the University of Nebraska, and worked a time as a salesman for the Oscan Meyer Co., and later as a local sales manager for the Wilson Packing Co. of Chicago. More recently, he was employed in the meat department at the University of Iowa. He was a member of First Christian Church. Surviving are his widow; two brothers, John L. or Ord and Vernon A. of Walker, Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. Jack (Ellen) Bailey of Winner, S.D. He was preceded in death by a brother and one sister.
