Bio

Ernest Klein was born May 10, 1917 near Meadow Grove, Nebraska to George & Mary Klein (Werner) Klein. He was baptized May 27, 1917 and confirmed May 3, 1931 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church south of Battle Creek, Nebraska. He attended St. Peter's Lutheran School and District 79 and graduated form Battle Creek High School in 1935. He was a memeber of St. Peters Lutheran Walther League and church choir. On October 14, 1951, he married Adela Klingemann at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rising City, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife Adela, four children and their families, Cynthia & Martin Oelklaus, William & Kathy Klein, Judy & Todd Munderloh, and Jo Ann & Stephen Dollins. And 1 sister, Martha Prochaska. He was proceed in death by his parents, four brothers: William, Conrad, Victor, Oscar, and one sister, Clara Klein Bucholz.
