Grand Forks Herald (ND) - September 4, 2000 Deceased Name: ELIZABETH HARDER Elizabeth Harder, 94, Munich, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, in Towner County Medical Center, Cando, N.D. Elizabeth Hoffman was born Dec. 21, 1905, the daughter of Ludwig and Maria (Janzen) Hoffman, in Sievert Township, Cavalier County, N.D., where she attended school. She married Peter Harder on Nov. 6, 1924, in Munich. They lived and farmed near Munich. They retired and moved into Munich in 1964. Peter Harder died Jan. 15, 1969. She moved to Devils Lake in 1996. She moved to Cando in July 1997. She is survived by sons, Robert (Lorrayne), Devils Lake, Harold (Barbara), Munich, and Darol (Gerry), McVille, N.D.; daughters, Elsie (Robert) Decker, Surprise, Ariz., Dorothy (Orville) Lampson, Alsen, N.D., Elaine Stremick, Munich, and Carol Falde, Cando; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Anna Dick and Katherine Schultz, both of Munich; and a sister-in-law, Frances Hoffman, Munich. She was preceded in death by an infant child; a son-in-law, Ernest Falde; brothers, Louis, Isaac, Jacob, Henry, and Daniel; and a sister, Marie Thiessen. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Salem Mennonite Church, Munich. Visitation: 1 to 9 p.m. today, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, both in Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake, and one hour before services in the church. Burial: East Salem Cemetery, Munich
