DALLAS - Isaac "Ike" Hoffman, 83, of 574 E. Ellendale Ave., died Sunday at his home following a long illness. He was born in Henderson, Neb., and moved to Dallas in 1952 from Munich, N.D. He was a bookkeeper for the Polk County Road Department. He had previously farmed and operated a Gamble's Store in Munich. He was a member of the Faith Evangelical Free Church. Surviving are wife, Annie; sons George and Don, both Dallas, Archie, Munich, and DeWayne, Medford; daughters Joyce Friesen, Omaha, Neb., Carolyn Wall, Dallas, and I la Dyck, Salem; brothers Henry and Dan Hoffman, both Munich; sisters Elizabeth Harder, Annie Dick and Katherine Schultz, all of Munich; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Faith Evangelical Free Church, Dallas, with interment in the Dallas Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Dallas mortuary. The family suggests contributions to the Faith Evangelical Free Church Building Fund.
