Bio

The following was contributed by Larry Kleine #48241710: Anna B. Suck, 94, of Grand Island, died Thursday, October 10, 2002 at Wedgewood Care Center in Grand Island. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church with Pastor Richard Karohl, officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. October 13, 2002 at Kleine Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Burial of cremains will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 19, at Archer, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the church or donor’s choice. Anna was born in Merrick County near Palmer, Nebr. on May 25, 1908, to Otto and Bertha (Templin) Rudolf. She lived most of her life in Palmer and attended school there until moving to Grand Island in 1973. She worked at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant during WWII, worked at Kings Food Host for seven years, and was an Avon Representative for over 20 years. She enjoyed being on the farm, the daily routine of the farm, and enjoyed having grandkids stay with her during the summer. Anna is survived by two daughters; Phyllis Brim (and Carl) of Elwood, Nebr., and Ruby and Guy Hendricksen of Las Vegas, Nevada, ten grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by three brothers; Albert, Harry, and Ernest, two sisters; Martha and Meta, two daughters and son-in-laws; Delores and Harold Meyer and Luella and Otis Langrehr, and two grandchildren; Duane Langrehr and Ronnie Hendricksen.
