Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Saturday, 13 February 1988 PALMER - Edward Henry Suck, 83, of Palmer died Thursday, Feb. 11, in a Palmer nursing home. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Archer Zion United Methodist Church. The Rev. Earl Higgins will officiate. Burial will be in the Archer Zion Evangelical Community Cemetery. Visitation will be...at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. Mr. Suck was born Dec. 13, 1905, on a farm near Archer, the son of Jacob and Lena Wegner Suck. He attended school in Archer and was a lifelong resident of the Archer community. He married Anna Rudolf in 1923. He was a member of the Archer Zion United Methodist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Otis (Luella) Langrehr of Parker Dam, Calif., Mrs. Guy (Ruby) Hendricksen of Las Vegas, Neb., Mrs. Carl (Phyllis) Brim of Elwood and Mrs. Harold (Delores) Meyer of St. Libory; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer and Delbert, both of Palmer; and a sister, Viona Suck of Palmer. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a grandchild.
