Bio

Beatrice M. Sabata, of David City, died Sunday March 25, 2012 at the Butler County Health Care Center. Beatrice was born on June 25, 1932 to Anton and Helen (Pokorny) Sabata on the family farm near David City. Beatrice attended District #85 school. She took care of her mother on the family farm until her death. She moved to David City in 1982. Beatrice loved guardian angels and especially loved her nieces and nephews. She was a member of Assumption Appleton and later St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors are: sisters Jarmilla (Joe) Hanis of Bruno, and Bernadette (Jerry) Tuma of Schuyler; a sister in law Martha Sabata as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Sylvester and John Sabata and sisters Tillie Coufal, Mildred Mastera and Rose Jisa. Interment was in the Assumption Cemetery, Appleton, NE.
