Wise County Messenger Feb. 20, 2011 Brune, Gary Gene | 1961-2011 Funeral for Gary Gene Brune, 49, of Fort Worth was to be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Flatwood Baptist Church in Decatur. Douglas Acklie was to officiate. Brune died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, in Fort Worth. Born Aug. 7, 1961, in Palacios to Laverne Brune and Margeret Dols, he was a mechanic. He is survived by wife Karen Brune; sons Gary Brune and Buck Brune; daughters-in-law Desiree and Corine; brothers Terry Brune and Ricky Brune; and grandchildren Leona, Hannah, Pheonix, Ricky, Justin, Faith, Bailey, Tommy and Destiny.
