Winford was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Trammell. Survivors: Children, Gary Trammell and wife, Cheri, and Kathy Greer and husband, Lee; grandchildren, Daniel Trammell and Amanda Halford; great-grandchildren, Grace Halford, Luke Halford and Jaxon Trammell; brother, Ray Trammell; sisters, Etta Mae McBride, Imogene Conder, Faye Browning, Mary Choate and Melba O'Daniel.
