Herald Coaster, December 5, 1982: Funeral services for Minnie Kettler, 85, of Houston, formerly of Needville, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg. A 2 p.m. graveside service will be held in the V.A.Cemetery in Houston, with her son, Rev. Edwin Kettler, officiating. She died early Friday in Northeast Memorial Hospital in Humble. Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Johnson of South Houston; four sons, E.H. Kettler of Houston, Edward Kettler and Gilbert Kettler of California, and Wilburn Kettler of Wallis; one brother, Emil Schwartz of Brenham; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Davis Funeral Home Chapel after 1 p.m. Sunday.
