Hester passed away peacefully at the age of 96. Hester was under the watchful care of Saint Angus Hospice. She was a resident of Fairwinds assisted living for seven years. The family of Hester is very grateful for their compassion and their labors. Hester was a resident of the Clovis, Fresno area for the proceeding 25 years. Her life began in South Dakota in the home of her parents William Melvin Grim and Caroline Moren Grim. Hester and her seven siblings migrated elsewhere due to the Great Depression; Hester migrated to California. The communities Hester resided in included lone, Dixon and Mitchell in South Dakota, Vallejo, Porterville, Lindsay, Clovis and Fresno in California. Hester enjoyed her occupations including assisting her deceased ex-husband Earnest J. White as bookkeeper and job scheduler, she also enjoyed being a competitive orange packer, hospital technician at Porterville State Hospital and real estate speculation. Her hobbies included stitchery, yard sales, travel, gambling, games and telling jokes. Hester is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Kay White; and a son, O. James White and his spouse Patricia Ebel White, and their children Melissa L. White and David E. White and his spouse Lisa Missakian White and their children Gunner J. White and Taylor R. White. She is also survived by her cousin, Richard Ingersol; along with many other nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at Fairwinds (Friant and Ft.
