Mary Jane (Smith) Penton-Sims. She was born 2 May 1842 & died 19 Jun 1901. 1st marriage 14 Jul 1860 Coosa Co., AL (Bk C, 254) was to Abner Penton, who died 17 Aug 1867 in Coosa Co., AL. They had four children. Abner's first wife was Lavinia Champion; they had 7 children. Mary Jane's 2nd marriage was 11 Mar 1869 in ?Coosa Co., AL to John Burkley Sims, we have not found any children of this 2nd marriage. above thanks to findagrave contributor: Bill & Bobbye Varner #47168703 the Sims children attached to this entry as a result of the note on William Aston Sim's entry posted by E Sims. Richard Hollis also a footstone posted as M J Sims is in this cemetery, I don't know if it is near this stone and is hers or is located elsewhere in the cemetery and is someone else, anyone?
