Bio

Rites for Mrs. Lula Virginia Veale of 3609 NE 23rd will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel with burial in Llano Cemetery. The Rev. Roy B. Flippo of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ewel Casey, Lucian Rogers, Archie Reed, Robert Longest, James Bayless and J.H. Hughes. Mrs. Veale, 72, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday in Amarillo Osteopathic Hospital. She was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Willis V. Veale of Amarillo, A.T. Veale of Childress and W.T. Veale of Temple City, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Tadlock of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Velera Williams of Amarillo; two brothers, W.A. Sims of Anna and J.C.
