Bio

EICHER.- On the 13 th of March, in Washington county, IA., Martin Eicher, aged 55 years, 11 months and 27 days. He leaves a widow and 12 children to mourn his departure; but they have reason to believe their loss is his eternal gain. About an hour before his death, at his request, the 20th chapter of Matthew was read to him. He was for some time a deacon of the Amish Mennonite church. The funeral was very largely attended.
