Bio

Hilda (Mikes) Rausl, 90, of La Grange, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at St. Mark's Medical Center in La Grange. Hilda was born in Oldenburg, Texas on July 2, 1921, the daughter of the late Frank and Millie (Kasper) Mikes. She married Lad Rausl on September 10, 1947 in Fayetteville. Hilda dedicated her life to her family in loving them and guiding them with her wisdom and faith. She is survived by three sons: Garry Rausl, Jimmy Rausl and wife, Mae, and Bobby Rausl all of La Grange; brother, Alvin Mikes of Oldenburg; two grandchildren: Mark Rausl and wife, Susan; Shelia Bage and husband, Mark; three great grandchildren: William Rausl, Grayson and Garrison Bage. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lad, who passed away on September 5, 1976; infant son, Billy Joe Rausl, and brother, Oswald Mikes. Services at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hostyn. Burial La Grange City Cemetery. Arrangements by Koenig & Strickland, La Grange. (Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home)
