Daniel E. Sullivan, age 83 of Waco, NE died Sunday March 11, 2012 at Seward, NE. Daniel was born November 28, 1928 to Daniel J. and Minnie (Cuda) Sullivan at Utica, NE. Daniel was a graduate of Waco High School. Daniel was united in marriage to Elsie Dickey on November 4, 1948 at Topeka, KS. He was in the construction business and had worked for Constructors Inc. in Lincoln, NE. Daniel enjoyed football and horse racing. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York. Daniel is survived by: wife, Elsie Sullivan of Waco; children: Michael (Lyn) Sullivan of Lincoln; Daniel Sullivan of Raymore, MO; John Sullivan of Fairbury, NE; Joe (Carol) Sullivan of Doniphan, NE; Kathy (Joe) Ruzicka of Seward; Patty McCord of Guernsey, WY; Chris (Tom Hill) Bohaty of Lincoln; Peggy (Lynn) Hanson of Litchfield, MN; Julie (Todd) Raridon of Plainfield, IL; and Kelly (Brad) Whiteley of Lincoln; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; brother, James Sullivan of Waco; sisters-in-law, Rita Sullivan of Waco and Wanda Sullivan of York; brothers-in-law, Dan Kirkpatrick of York and Ernie Kozisek of Grand Island and a host of relatives and friends. Daniel was preceded in death by: parents and siblings: Robert, Raymond, Deloris, Carmen, and Dorothy. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, York, NE. Published York News Times 03/13/2012
