Andrew STANISLAV BORN: November 7, 1938 DIED: June 29, 2010 LOCATION: Omaha, Nebraska Andrew J. Stanislav, 71, Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Blencoe, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Andrew was born November 7, 1938, on the family farm at Blencoe, Iowa, the son of George E. and Agnes M. (Vlcam) Stanislav. He was raised in Blencoe and graduated at Blencoe High School. Later he attended one year at Omaha University. Andrew and Lola Guerra were united in marriage November 28, 1959 at Kansas City, KS. The couple made their home in Omaha where they raised their two children, Janet and Tim. He was a chief engineer for Max I Walkers for 35 years and retired in 2004. Andy was a member of Saint Margaret Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Lola of Omaha; a daughter and her special friend, Janet Stanislav and Bruce Hein of Moorhead, IA; a son and his wife, Tim and Lisa Stanislav of Omaha; three grandchildren, Chris and Jeff Peters and Cole Stanislav; two brothers and their wives, Milo and Mary of Onawa and Dennis and Edna Mae of Blencoe; a sister and her husband, JoAnn and Bob Lampe of Omaha; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Irene Montag.
