Daughter of William W. and Rebecca Grace Chappell Vaughn. Spouse of William Washington Tate. ∼ Married William Hugh Clardy, 22 February 1857, Sevier Co., Arkansas. They were the parents of Etta Sarah and James William Clardy. William Hugh Clardy died 27 November 1863, near Cairo, Alexander Co., Illinois, while serving the Confederacy.
