Herald Coaster, August 8, 1991: Funeral services for John C. Viaclovsky, 85, of Wallis, will be held Aug. 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Guardian Angel Church, with Rev. Patrick Zurek officiating. Interment will follow in the G.A. Memorial Crypt. Pallbearers will be Edwin Dusek, Syl Viaclovsky Jr., Patrick and Ronnie Viaclovsky, Gene Hubenak, and Wayne Lowman. Viaclovsky was born Aug. 27, 1905 in Wallis and died Aug. 7. He was a member of K.J.T. and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Christine; daughters, Vernetta Hajdik and husband, Willie, of Wallis, Eunice Haas, and husband, Dan, of Houston; sisters, Mary Blahuta of Wallis and Wilma Dusek of East Bernard; brother, Jerome Viaclovsky of East Bernard; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A wake service and rosary will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. Services are under the direction of Knesek & Sons Funeral Home of Wallis.
