Herald Coaster, December 2, 1992: Funeral services for Vencil H. Prazak, 72, of Wallis, are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday at Guardian Angel Church. The Rev. Anthony Stedny will officiate, with burial at Guardian Angel Crypt. A rosary will be 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Prazak died Tuesday at his home. He was born March 10, 1920 in East Bernard to Frank and Otillia Vacek Prazak. He attended Holy Cross School in East Bernard. He married Willie Mae Gallia in Mission on May 24, 1942. He was a farmer and served in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the KJT #16 in Wallis and had served on the Guardian Angel Church Board of Trustees for 12 years. He was an honorary chapter farmer. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Prazak; four daughters and their husbands, Rose Marie and John Dirba of Sealy, Marilyn and Frank Jedlicka of East Bernard, Cheryl and Dewayne Engelhart of Wallis, and Carol J. and Don Malone of Pledger; two sons and their wives, Johnnie and Scharlene Prazak of Eagle Lake, and Vencil and Eileen Prazak of East Bernard; four sisters, Mary Viktorin of East Bernard, Annie Macha of Wallis, Bessie Prochaska of East Bernard, and Agnes Muras of Pasadena; three brothers, Joe Prazak of Houston, Frank Prazak and Henry Prazak, both of East Bernard; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Dirba, Chris Prazak, Paul Prazak, Phillip Jedlicka, Matthew Jedlicka, and Beau Malone. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Kulhanek, Derrick Engelhart, Dean Malone, Daniel Engelhardt, and John Allen Dirba. Services are under the direction of Knesek & Sons Funeral Home in Wallis.
