Bio
John Rollins Sisson was born at Parnell, Nodaway county, Missouri January 14, 1900. He came with his parents to Oklahoma when he was a small lad and was reared in Bethel community, west of Hinton, where he grew to manhood. He was converted at the age of 16 and joined the Bethel Methodist church later transferring his membership to the Christian Church at Apache, Ok. He was married on his 22nd birthday, Jan 14, 1922 to Miss Evah Peden who survives him. His home has been at Eagle City, Ok, from where he was taken about a month ago to the Oklahoma General Hospital at Oklahoma City for treatment. He passed to the life beyond on December 30th at the age of 33 years, 11 months and 16 days. He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, his father, W.H. Sisson, his foster mother, Mrs. W.H. Sisson, five brothers Taylor, Charley, Austin and Eugene, one sister Myrtle and 2 step brothers Jake and Pete Wolf. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1910; and by his sisters, Ethel, who died in 1910; Marie, who died in 1918; and Cleola, who died in 1914. Submitted by Dana Sisson Tilton
