FAMILY/RESEARCH NOTES: 1. OBITUARY: David Eugene West, 81, died Sunday, March 8, 1992 at his home in Portland. Born in Bremond, Texas and reared in Freestone County. He was a Christian all his life, serving the Lord with joy and faithfulness. He proclaimed the Gospel for 60 years. Survived by his wife, Mabel of Portland; 2 sons; 4 grandchildren; & a sister, Mrs. Cleo McAdams of Fairfield, TX. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 10, 1992, burial following in LaRosa Cemetery in Woodsboro, Texas. (NOTE: Portland is shown in both San Patricio & Nueces Counties.) 2.
