Lawrence died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska. Lawrence F. Brandl was born May 15, 1917 in Platte County, Nebraska to Frank and Mary (Frauendorfer) Brandl. He married Frances Tworek on April 24, 1939 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Tarnov, Nebraska. Lawrence farmed in Platte County near Cornlea before moving to the Madison area in 1950 where he continued to farm. In 1980 the couple moved to Columbus. He was a member of St Isidore Church and the Holy Name Society.
