Theresa died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Theresa Jaixen was born August 27, 1917 in Platte County to Stanley H. and Mary (Gourka) Paprocki. She was raised in Tarnov where she attended St. Michael School. Theresa worked various jobs in Omaha before being united in marriage to Joseph Jaixen on August 27, 1940 in Tarnov. Theresa raised their family and worked for Dale Electronics for 22 years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Legion of Mary, Catholic Daughters of America, Perpetual Adoration, and sang in the church choir. Theresa loved to garden, cook, bake, and do crafts. She is survived by: Daughter Lucille Dettmer of Omaha Son Terry (Linda) Jaixen of Omaha Son Francis (Connie) Jaixen of Humphrey Daughter-in-law Lucille Jaixen of Omaha Son-in-law Morris Frey of Fremont 16 Grandchildren 35 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren Sister Eleanor Jaworski of Humphrey Sister Loretta Wees of Omaha Many Nieces, Nephews, and good friends She is preceded in death by: Husband Joseph Jaixen Parents Daughter Mary Ann Frey Son Paul Jaixen Granddaughters Mary Jaixen and Dina Dettmer Grandson Derek Jaixen Brothers Stanley and Flavian Paprocki Son-in-law Fred Dettmer Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
