Bio
Douglas Weaver, 86, of Waco, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012, at his residence. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 5, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Douglas was born in Wortham, Texas, to the late Sam and Ollie Weaver. He grew up in Eunice, N.M. Douglas was a longtime jeweler in the Waco area and an ardent Baylor Bear Backer. He was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; and his daughter, Pamela Weaver Trice. He is survived by his son, Lindell Weaver and wife, Wanda, of Waco; son-in-law, Keith Trice and wife, Terri; sister-in-law, Margaret Willey and husband, Merle; granddaughters, Jennifer McNiece and husband, Matthew, Shelly Randle and husband, Edward, and Kelsey Bono; and many other family members and friends.
