Bio

SHINER – Miss Emily Chilek, 78, of Shiner, died Saturday at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shiner Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel by the KJZT Society and again at 8 p.m. by the parish. Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home of Shiner. Miss Chilek was survived by a brother, Peter Chilek of Shiner; and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Svoboda of Shiner and Mrs. Rudolph Vyoral of Moulton. Victoria Advocate, April 30, 1979
