Glen S. Oakey, age 67, of Springville died Monday, December 19, 1988 at his home. He was born March 22, 1921 in Springville to Shipton O. and Minne Bell Mason Oakey . He married LaRae Olsen. They were later divorced. He married Vera H. Bona Oakey . He is survived by his wife of Springville, five sons and three daughters: Kevin Ralph Oakey, Bert S. Oakey, Glen Dale Oakey, Kaylene Brailsford, all of Springville; Venice Bird of Salt Lake City; Daniel Bruce Oakey of Florida; Steven Earl Oakey of Spanish Fork; Margie Robinson of Provo. Step-children, Wayne I. Bona of Springville; Kenneth E. Bona of Orem; Diana Lee Greenhalgh of Elk Ridge. Three sisters: Allean Lopez of Springville; Grace Richmond of Springville; Vera Johnson of California. 22 grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
