Grace Marie Oakey Richmond, 89, passed away at her home in Springville, October 24, 1996, after a lengthy illness. Grace was born July 22, 1907, in Springville, Utah, to Shipton O. and Minnie Bell Mason Oakey . She married Maurice DeVaughn Richmond on May 5, 1926. She is survived by two sons and three daughters: Elmer (LaRue) Gerber of Orem; Wayne (Kathy) Richmond of Stockton, California; Lee (Janet) Evans of Springville; Fred (Anita) Childs of Sunset, Utah; Mike (Sharon) Richmond of Springville; 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Allean Lopez of Springville; and Vera Johnson of Niles, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, Glen Oakey , one sister, Lula Jones and granddaughter, Sue G. Mackay. Burial was October 28, 1996.
