Munday, Texas - Marvin Zeissel, 83, of Rhineland, Texas died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in the Munday Nursing Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Jeremias Tigga officiating. Burial will be in Saint Joseph's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home in Munday, Texas. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. thursday at the funeral home. Marvin was born November 28, 1928 in Knox County, Texas to J.W. & Mary Zeissel. He was a loving husband to Jeanette Loran for 63 years. they resided at Rhineland where he farmed all his life. He was a memeber of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Rhineland, where he served on various committees for many years. He also served on the B-K Electric Board and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife: Jeanette Zeissel of Rhineland, Texas; Two daughters: Patsy and her husband Rick Meinzer and Mary Denise and her husband Kenneth Groves, both of Rhineland, Texas; Seven Grandchildren: Kandi Miranda; Jason Zeissel; Crystal Zeissel; Jared Groves; Seth Meinzer; Curt Groves and Logan Groves and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Greg Zeissel of Rhineland, Texas. Published in Abilene Reporter-News on February 23, 2012
