Bio

Services for Don Earl Ramsey, 79 of Spur, were at 3 p.m. October 16, 1993 in the Highway 70 Church of Christ with Gerald Paden, Lubbock officiating. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home. Mr. Ramsey died at 3:56 a.m. October 15 in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 12, 1914 in Fannin County. He moved to Dickens Co. in 1936 coming from Aspermont. He married Daisy Ball in Spur on June 1, 1938. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a son, Joe Don Ramsey in 1974. He is survived by his wife, Daisy, of Spur; one daughter, Charlotte Beeson, Midland; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
