mother of Linda Elaine Lemley; Terry Glenn Lemley Wilma Allen Lemley, 85, of Eddy, formerly of Blue Ridge, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, with a private memorial service at 5 p.m. Another visitation will be 12 noon until 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, at Hurst Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 111 Tilman Street, Blue Ridge, Texas, with a committal service following at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Cemetery. Wilma was born in Blue Ridge, Texas, to the late John Luther and Myrtle Gleen (Hallmark) Humphries. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and loved studying the Bible. She also had a passion for history and enjoyed reading history books. Later in life, Wilma taught herself to sew and became a great seamstress and quilter. Wilma was also a wonderful cook who enjoyed many years of employment in the school cafeteria in McKinney until her retirement. Preceding her in death was her husband, Weldon Lemley; and a grandson, Christopher Lemley. Survivors include her children, and their spouses, grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother and wife, and her dear friend. Waco Tribune-Herald: 10/10/2012...N10
