Bio

Clinton M. Volkmer, 80, of Kenesaw, formerly of Columbus and McCool Junction, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at the Haven Home in Kenesaw. Volkmer was born April 4, 1931, in Shickley, to Adolph and Leona (Schmock) Volkmer. Survivors include his wife, Dee Volkmer, of Columbus; sons, Terry and Vicky Volkmer, of Bellevue, Wash., Doug and Sue Volkmer, of Lincoln; daughters, Janet and Rex Radcliff, of Beaver Crossing, Kelly and Doug Smith, of York, Laurie Hillmer, of York; sister, Patricia Bredenkamp, of York; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva. Graveside services at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in McCool Junction. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are directed to the family.
